Interior design for a maisonnette in Sofia. In this two-level apartment, the vast windows are a signature feature, linking the space with the colors and outlines of the nearby mountain. The glazing of the top level is characteristic – large windows along the entire height and length of the space. For a gentle transition and softening of the environment from the glazing to the solid interior, we have used single-colored curtains. Complex soffits, covered by a special, oxidized mirror and built-in lights, maintain the glamour line.

Lounge area

Luxurious and esthetic interior design in the spacious living area. The double-sided fireplace forms two areas: for conversations and relaxation and for watching TV. They are both directly connected to the dining-area. The proper and healthy nutrition, much cherished by the owners, has defined the key role of the kitchen. In terms of style, its design is a continuation of the lounge-area’s interior. The ornaments, characteristic for the classic solutions, are observed here in the plaster details on the walls and decorative ceiling cornices, are all in light hues so that it is perceived as actual texture, and not merely decorative elements. The overall image of this apartment to a great degree is provided by the color palette. The balanced background hues are enhanced by copper, golden and pearly purple hues in the finishes of the lamps and upholstery. Within this context, the two Dolfi armchairs in green velvet represent a clear manifestation of the "pure luxury" concept, discretely suggesting chick and sensuality.

Parents’ bedroom and bathroom

The personal spaces have a clearly expressed character of their own and inspire respect with the materials used. With merely a hint of extravagance, these elements of the discrete interior of the secluded bedroom resemble jewels. The luxury of the chamber comfort is further enhanced by the variety of fabrics, the high back of the bed, fabric-covered walls and golden-copper details of the carefully selected accessories. The coatings of the bathrooms boast the aristocratism of the onyx. Shower systems for private wellness and Gessi taps.

Children’s bedrooms

The interior of all three children’s rooms and the bathrooms of each of them are influenced by the fantasies, dreams and hobbies of each of the three children in the family. All of them are designed in neutral and pastel hues with clear lines, but with abundance of details and impressive accents, suggesting the distinctive individuality of each child.
